How can i lose weight fast and how far will starvation get me?

I am a girl, 5′5” and i weigh 135 pounds. im not fat but all of my family calls me fat and my parents dont tell them anything. they have taken a toll on my life and i can never feel good about myself. i just want to lose weight fast so i can prove to my parents what everyone did to me. what is the fastest and best way i can do this? and how long can i achieve it in?

    it all about being healthy. Your weight suits you, but if u want to lose a few pounds, eat healthy and workout. It’s slow, but best for your body.

    Don’t listen to them either! You have to be confideent in yourself and ignore them.

    starvation will lead to weight gain in the long term as it will slow your metabolism down drastically. Eat better foods, drink more water and exercise more. Those are the only real ways to lose weight for the long term.

    starving will make you lose weight fast, but then once you start eating even slightly more than nothing youl gain the weight back on in about 2days and then youl gain a bit more weight on aswell and feel even worse about yourself.

    starving really is not a good way to lose weight

    write a food log for a full week, rite every thing you eat and its fat/calorie levels.
    average up (add up all the numbers and then devide by 7)
    how many g of fat your eating and how many calories your eating in a day and then take away 35% of it.
    this is your new fat/calory daily limit. Do not go over it.

    this combinded with healthy but tough exercise will ge the pounds falling off, itl take a while for you to be able to see results but dont let this put you off, itl take about 3months for you to see it.

    this may not be the fastest, but it is the most healthy.

    5 small meals a day.

    whenever you eat those meals, put down your fork after each bite and wait until you are done chewing to pick your fork back up. this way, you will know when you are full without that "OMG I AM SO FULL" feeling when you finish a plate.

    drink a lot of water.

    eat celery. digesting celery burns more calories than in celery itself.

    do not eat after 8 o’clock. (this will be very hard to do)

    you may see results after the first month. but please remember, losing weight is nothing you need to rush. eating healthy is going to have to be a new lifestyle for you. you have to be willing to keep a promise to yourself to keep up this new healthy habit or else you will not lose weight.

    if you have time, running or swimming are the best cardio workouts.

    Hurting yourself is not the way to show your parents "what everyone did." Try talking to them. If that doesn’t help, then get out of the environment. Take up a sport, join a gym, start running, get a job- engage in healthy activities that get you away from your family members.

    Do not starve yourself.You are going to hear this a lot, but it is not a great idea.

    Eat less and move more.Eat more fruit and vegetables, drink water instead of soda.Exercise.

    Yeah…no. See, you need to stop right now and take charge of your life. You’re trying to f*ck your body, and consequently your health, just to "prove" something to your parents? The only thing you’ll prove is that you’re emotionally childish. You need to grow up and understand that people are a**holes. They’re going to say a**hole things. They’re going to do a**hole things. And you know what? LET THEM. You need to be mentally strong and emotionally secure because people are douche bags and WHO THE F*CK CARES? I mean, really, who CARES if they call you fat? You even know you’re not fat, so who cares that some idiotic moron is calling you fat? WHO CARES? You know they’re only calling you fat because you hate it. What do you think will happen if you starve yourself? They’re going to just do it more. They’re doing this to try and get a reaction out of you, so you’re going to give them a reaction? That’s your solution? No. They’re going to see how much power you’ve given them and just make it much worse.

    So stop, take a deep breath, and realize that YOU are in charge of YOUR emotions. They haven’t taken a toll on your life, you’ve LET them take a toll on your life. You need to start taking responsibility for your emotions.

    Starvation is not the best way to loose weight. Initially for a short period of time you will loose weight pretty fast, but then your body goes into starvation mode, and somehow - though dont ask me exactly how- it knows that there is a lack of food and your body burns energy less quickly, as starvation reduces your metabolic rate.

    Recently my mum went of a diet and decided that we all had to cause she wasnt going to cook two different things for lunch, tea etc….
    Anyway for tea/dinner what ever you want to call it we have a salad then like honey chicken or something.
    Though what i find has helped me loose weight pretty quickly is just drinking pleanty of water. if i ever feel like snacking i’ll just have a glass of water as it fills me up, i mean water doesn’t have calories or fat.
    Also when we have dinner i’ll always end up drinking my drink really fast at the beginning and end up feeling really full so i cant finish my dinner. probably not the best weight loss plan but i find it works.
    Down side is from drinking more water than usual you end up going to the toilet a bit more. oh well. yeh so basically i’m eating less and drinking lots more water. works for me :)
    Also exercise a bit more than usual. i’m a bit to lasy to have a proper exercise regieme so what im doing is walking to school instead of getting the bus. And i offered to walk my sisters dog - gets me out the house

    You can’t harm your health to get back at rude people. I have had my family and one old friend make comments about my weight in a less than positive manner and I understand how difficult that can be to listen to. But you have to look past the negative comments and realize what you know is true. You know you are not overweight, you have to realize how beautiful you are and not let immature people convince you otherwise.

    I’ll be honest with you, if you decide to lose weight too quickly, you will probably gain it back just as fast. And even moreso, you will probably gain back a few more pounds than you initially lost. It happens to people all the time, it’s happened to me. You have to learn to love yourself and love your body and disregard all the rest.

    Don’t listen to the people who say you will "gain weight" if you starve yourself. Have you ever seen a fat Holocaust victim?

    You will lose weight rather quickly if you starve yourself. With that being said, other complications will arise from your quick weight loss. You may have irregular heart rhythms, excess skin, your hair may fall out, you will feel exhausted all the time, you may ruin your gallbladder, you may get hemorrhoids from constipation, your nails will look yellow, your metabolism will be shot, and you will be in physical pain all the time from the insane hunger pangs.

    135 pounds at 5′5 is NOT fat. You most certainly do not want to lose any more than 10 pounds if you do decide to lose weight. Simply eliminating snacks during the day and drinking nothing but water can help you lose a few pounds a week. Go for a bike ride for a few minutes a day, or make a playlist and dance for a while to get some exercise in.

    You do NOT need to starve, and the consequences are not worth fitting into a smaller pair of jeans.

    My mom asked her palaties (i dont know how to spell that) teacher the same question. The answer? Eat lots of fruits and vegetables. Starving yourself wont get you anywhere. Just cut down on snacks, and eat healthy. Maybe buy skim mil instead of three percent. It looks a little watery but it tastes fine. Also, be positive about yourself. It wont make you lose weight, but it will make you feel better!

    Lmao wat! are u serious. im 5′5 too and i would love to weigh that much again! i gained 20 lbs and im trying to get back to around the 130’s. I can’t believe people can be so ignorant (i dont mean to call your family ignorant) but they need to grow the hell up. im laughin right now because this is ridiculous how ur family calls u fat. u r perfect just the way u r and dont let NOBODY change u. only thing that matters is that if u feel comfortable wit ur body not wat ur family thinks.But if u really wanna lose weight ill tell u wat i did. i lost 6 lbs in a week (it may not seem healthy losing that much in a week but i didnt mean to lose that much so fast)by taking out all the bad fatty foods. i replaced my milk with reduced fat and changed to whole wheat bread I would also eat like 5 small meals a day. i dont eat after six neither and i excercise morning and night. maybe ride ur bike, speed walk, go to the gym etc. i excercised for 2-3 hrs. each day but not all at once. these r sum good tips i follow as well. http://all-about-health-and-beauty.blogspot.com/2008/06/5-easy-smart-and-simple-strategies-to.html
